Terms of Service
These Terms apply when you play or access LegendSim on the web or through Reddit. By using LegendSim, you agree to them.
Acceptance and eligibility
You may use LegendSim only if the law allows you to agree to these Terms. If you play through Reddit, you must also meet Reddit's account eligibility requirements and follow the Reddit User Agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use LegendSim.
About the game
LegendSim is a fictional, entertainment-only sports career simulation. Its players, events, results, rankings, finances, injuries, and career outcomes do not provide professional, medical, financial, or betting advice.
Accounts, saves, and rankings
You are responsible for activity through your device and Reddit account. Public Reddit rankings use your u/username and game results. Do not manipulate scores, impersonate another person, or submit results produced through exploits, automation, or unauthorized changes. LegendSim may correct or remove invalid scores and abusive entries.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the game or its servers, bypass access or security controls, introduce malicious code, scrape protected data, harass other users, or use LegendSim for unlawful activity. You must also follow the rules of the subreddit and platform where you play.
Ownership and permitted use
LegendSim owns or licenses the game's code, interface, writing, graphics, branding, and other original material. LegendSim gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the game for personal, non-commercial play. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create a competing service from protected parts of LegendSim except where applicable law permits it.
Reddit owns its services, trademarks, platform data, and other materials covered by Reddit's terms. LegendSim does not own your Reddit account or username. Reddit operates independently and may change, restrict, or end access to its platform or Devvit features.
Availability and changes
LegendSim may change game balance, features, eligibility, scores, rankings, or these services. Saves and rankings may be reset when needed to fix errors, protect fair play, comply with platform requirements, or discontinue a feature. LegendSim does not promise uninterrupted access or permanent storage of saves and rankings.
Disclaimers
LegendSim is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent the law permits, LegendSim disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Applicable consumer rights remain in force.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law permits, LegendSim is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, access, opportunities, or profits arising from use of the game. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or legal rights that applicable law does not allow LegendSim to exclude.
Ending access
You may stop using LegendSim at any time. LegendSim may suspend or end access when you breach these Terms, threaten the game or other users, or when a platform requires it. Terms that by their nature should continue after access ends, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law, remain in effect.
Changes to these Terms
LegendSim may update these Terms when the game, platform requirements, or law changes. The effective date shows when the current version began. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
The laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada govern these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction in British Columbia will hear disputes unless applicable consumer law requires another forum.
